    The service is terrible.

Have been there many times, like the food fine- but so funny how i always went there over and over again even i get always the worst service i have got in a restaurant! these ladies are rude and they clearly hate the custumers and their job. im sorry but this is my experience of like 7-10 times there, but i will not go there again.

    Tasty Veggie Eats, Ya'll!

I would totally give this place a four star food review because I'm a very strict vegetarian and there are so few places open early in the morning for huge tofu scramble breakfast burrito (with a side of chili, ya'll), but my gf is not veggie and she thinks the food could be better. Regardless, we love this cozy and hip little diner on Bedford. The music is chill, the staff are pleasant and there's always an Onion lying around for a morning crossword with their Organic Coffee. And it's open at 9AM! Cereal-y, ya'll, Bliss = teh bliss.

    If ignorance is bliss...

If ignorance is bliss then Bliss is just stupid! I'm sad to have to say this, but I have been disappointed with Bliss on so many occasions that I feel I must let other people know. There has been perhaps one occasion out of the several times that I have eaten at Bliss where I haven't been disgusted with the food. It's such a good idea and I really want to like it which is why I keep trying their food just one more time... but from now on, I think I'll just stick to their muffins IF anything. I also would like to mention for the benefit of the restaurant that the service BLOWS.

Well, i happen to like the service, too!

My girlfriend and I have eaten here a couple times now, and we're bound to keep coming back for more- especially for brunch. I'm not vegan, nor am I vegetarian, but I absolutely love good, healthy, and simple food. The first time we went, I got the bliss bowl, which was pretty darn good and remarkably balanced. She had the curry, which was also nice, but would have been put to shame at any eastern restaurant. Service was iffy, but she gave us free muffins so i've got no complaints. Otherwise... Go there for brunch! They have the best tofu scramble I've ever tasted. I'm not a huge fan of this dish in general, but bliss has perfected the recipe and I cant wait to go back for more. The tempeh bacon was poor, but the ambiance was great. Give Bliss a chance. Veggie or not, you'll be happy to eat here. Oh, and try their juices.

    i'm all about healthy

but my salad sort of tasted like i was eating grass..... on the plus side they often have wheat free baked goods which can be hard to come by. i would be willing to go back and try something else.

    just what i wanted

I just came back from there and feel awesome-I eat like crap a lot of time -mind you my crap is pretty healthy -as a vegan for most of my adult life to an omnivore now I can definately appreciate some basic wholesome greens and brown rice. Macro food is what it is -pretty hard to get jazzed up or jazzy about it -Everything was cooked well -not overdone(veg) not underdone(rice) and the carrot ginger sauce was awesome -I think ill probably eat here everyday now till im sick of it -fair prices friendly server -pretty fast service and exactly what I expected -if you ask me rice and veggies are the most boring thing to cook at home . For me to cook rice-beans-seaweed-sweet potatoes-veggies and make a dressing sounds like a couple hours of prep, cooking, cleaning up not to mention I like em fresh and would probably make enough for days of leftovers -Ill try brunch tomorrow the negative was a super wobbly table (like drink spiller) pet peeve -surprising how many coffee shops and eateries have this problem though but in a way that im usually annoyed by ny in general (love/hate) Im not a hippy and like to eat animals but ive gotten kinda fat this winter sitting on my ass so ill be eating there a lot in my pursuit of a sexy spring me -its small so hopefully I can get in for brunch probably not a hotspot but 10 times better for you than creamy cheesy fat-which i love as well all that was complex carbohydrates feeding my brain -been a while
