I don't want you to go here, because I don't want it to get more crowded, but I feel obliged to say in public what a wonderful place Geido is. As a regular, I feel like I'm treated like family. And the food is delicious - both the sushi and the kitchen items. I'd eat there 3x a week if I could afford it.

Best sushi I've ever had! Very fresh and a large selection of fish to choose from. I no longer live in the States but every time I visit New York, Geido is always on the list of things to do. I always suggest this restaurant to friends, family and anyone visiting New York.

Best restaurant of the neighbohood, and really good japanese. I eat there about twice a week (take out), and take people to Geido at least once a month, so far I never had a bad dinner! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Can't understand all the good reviews. The sushi was not as fresh as it should be, vegetables were old and wilted. I'm not interested in saving a dollar or two especially with Sushi. There are much, much better options in the neighborhood - Gen is one and Taro Sushi is the other.

Reasonable prices for excellent food. Wonderful selection of dishes. Typically friendly Japanese service.

Extremely fresh fish for a great price which is the most important part of a sushi restaurant. Lovely plating. Wish they delivered, but I pick up often nonetheless.

Don't tell too many people about this gem. I have been going for 6 years plus. Hands down a unique find that is always filled with regulars.
