    Delicious

My go to Indian restaurant- delicious food- try the malai kofta! If you live in the area perfect for easy/fast delivery:)

    Great food, slightly overpriced

A friend and I went here on a Sunday night. The restaurant had few people inside. Even though we were only two, they seated us on a 4 person table. They brought everything promptly. The waiters were very attentive continually refilling water and bringing us anything. The food was excellent. We had the mixed grilled appetizers, chicken karahi and lamb balti plus 2 beers and the bill came to around $60. Probably a little overpriced but it seems indian food is getting pricey around that area.

    Delicious !

I went to Haveli recently with a friend on a Friday night. There was plenty of seating available and the waitstaff was very friendly and polite. The food was wonderful and they were responsive to my request for no ghee to be put in my food (I'm vegan). They also helped me find dairy-free breads on the menu. Next to Chennai Garden, this is my new favorite Indian restaurant!!!!

    Tasty but overpriced

The vegetable dishes are tasty, but overpriced considering the cheap, simple ingredients and modest portions.

    Were my expectations too high?

have had Indian food only a few times and loved it. I wanted to introduce my husband to the cuisine and thought this sounded like the perfect place. The reviews here sounded wonderful and I thought perhaps the negative ones were from people who were difficult to please. We went at 6:30 on a Thursday evening. The place was dead and seemed dated. Perhaps if we went later in the evening when it was dark out and the restaurant was fuller the ambiance would have been better. There were plenty of waiters but it was never clear who was our waiter and who was our busboy because no one said much of anything to us. It was clear that we were new to Indian food but yet there was no attempt to help us with our order and again, not even clear who our waiter was. The condiments we received were wonderful and that is what prompts me to give the place a few stars. All three of them were fresh and had delicous complex flavors. Naan is always wonderful because it is so fresh baked and I am not going to say I was unhappy with it but the naan we ordered - an onion one and a potato one was not as good as other places I have had it. My dinner, chicken tikki was dry and lacking in flavor. Perhaps that is the nature of that particular dish but except for the condiments nothing I tasted had much if any spice or flavor. We were never offered the complimentary ice cream others described and in general I would describe the service far below average, the food average and the condiments (again, I am new to Indian food - not sure what they were and the waiter didn't explain - at least one was a chutney).... excellent. The bill came to more than I expected and more than the food was worth though not outrageous for the city. If others were insistent I would go back but I would not go back on my own. I was really hoping this would become a favorite for me. Maybe the few times I have Indian food before I got lucky and went to extraordinary places rendering this one just average or perhaps they had a bad night. Either way it was a disappointment.

    Loved it!!

Hands down, great restaurant for Indian food! Enjoyed an amazing valentine's evening with great food, service and atmosphere. Started with the champagne 'love drink' for two. Nice waiters recommended delectable dishes and answered questions when appropriate. Rich and savory samosa appetizers, chicken tikka masala and vegetable vindaloo. We were surprised with a free ice cream dessert. And, the best part was the bill was inexpensive! Ignore bad reviews, just experience it for yourself.

    Not recommended

The appetizers were OK, the beer was warm and the food and service were just lousy. They don't even bother to refill you glass of water and are extremely pushy in forcing you to order more than you need. The mutter paneer had 4 cubes of paneer! I mean, come on! My wife ordered lamb and that was lousy too. Our guests just didn't say anything, I think just to be polite.
