I stumbled upon 'ino on this site actually looking for a new lunch place to meet up with a girlfriend. We ordered the Quattro Panini which allows you to try 4 different kinds of paninis on one plate. They were all delicious! Finish with a cup of cappucino and you've had a perfect lunch. We've been back once more so far and definately anticipate going back again and again to try all of the delicious sounding menu items. Definately deserves a visit!

I've paid perfectly innocuous visits to Ino in the past, but I doubt I'll be going back after my most recent visit (7/30/09). I arrived at 6:30 to find the place empty apart from a couple sitting at the window table. I told the bartender that I was the first of a party of three, and he told me to sit anywhere I wanted. I sat at one of the middle tables along the side wall, and the bartender came over to ask if I wouldn't mind sitting at one of the end tables, as it was about to get busy; "but of course," I replied. Then my girlfriend and her mother arrived, sitting down at the table next to the end table I had chosen. By this time, the couple at the window table had left and we were now the only people in the place. Nevertheless, the bartender saw fit to tell us that we would have to move up and share the end table "as soon as it gets busy." By all means, my good man, but for heaven's sake, can't we cross that bridge when we come to it? Then a couple of the bartender's friends arrived and sat at the bar, reserving for themselves some 90% of his attention for the remainder of our stay. When we left, I thought that perhaps I had imagined our surly reception—the result of a long day at work; but, no sooner were we out the door than my girlfriend turned to me and said, "the way the bartender took our order made me want to slap him in the face!" I don't think I imagined any of the above. Bye-bye, 'ino!

My husband and I loved this place!! It's the perfect cozy date night spot or place to meet a couple friends for wine and a snack. We had the antipasti plate, the quattro panini plate (you try any 4 kinds of panini from the menu) and a portabello mushroom salad special AND a carafe of brunello for $50! And it was all delicious! I can't wait to go back. And the cute waitress/waiter/hosts duo was friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Best panino i have had in NYC---and I am a real pain when it comes to food. This place rivals the stuff I had in Italy. The 3 cheese is intoxicating.

We love 'ino! The only problem we've found is that it's total hit or miss whether you will get in right away or whethr you will wait an hour. It's great for 2-3 people, but it is not a group dining experience!

I love this place. Every time their food fresh and tasty. Perfect spot for everyone. I would recommend to anyone.

The food here is amazing and extremely well-priced, and they have quite an extensive wine selection and the staff knows their stuff when it comes to the food and wine! (btw, much much better than 8th street wine bar).
