a favorite
This is my favorite chinese restaurant to order from, I've only eaten in house once. But they are very good with requests and the noodles are delicious! My favorites are the angel hair noodles with roast pork soup or with meat dumplings. It's better than most standard chinese takeout places. Should definitely try!

Great. great place to eat
I've seen some of the other reviews complaining about service, etc. I don't know what rock these people crawled out from under. This is one of the true finds in NYC. The food is a definite step above most of the other takeout places in NYC, and the noodles are spectacular. The General Tzo's chicken is crisp, the soups (especially if one orders the large sizes, a meal in themselves) are almost invariably perfect, the seaweed-wrapped shrimp roll is perfect, and one can go on and on. The fact that they serve their lunch specials, reasonably priced and enormous portions, until 5 PM makes this an especial find for those that want to dine early. For 7 bucks, one can walk out of here satiated. I've found the service to be great. I go here once every two weeks, the waitress (she seems to be almost always on duty!), attentive, and she remembers all of my dining preferences. (I like hot oil, and all of my food to be MSG-free and little soy sauce). This is a great place to eat, and stands above most of the other small Chinese restaurants in the area. A place to take a romantic date... NO. A place to take friends, acquaintances and a big appetite... ABSOLUTELY!

Pretty Solid
We ordered some noodles/broth and dumplings from this place and everything was pretty good. The dumplings were a bit too doughy, but the roast pork noodle soup was delicious. I would reccomend staying away from the chicken or duck in broth, unless you don't mind the bones.

Terrible service, so-so food
This place is close to my office so I ate here numerous times when i first started working here. The food was OK, a step up from your typical chinese takeout, but far from special.. Unfortunately, the service is abysmal, and I stopped going for that reason. I went many times, always tipped well, and yet every time the staff were rude, unfriendly, and acted like they'd never seen me before and would just as well I turned around and ate at Subway next door, which eventually did. It might be forgivable if the food was fantastic, but it's mediocre, so why bother?

good, cheap chinese
This place is awesome for cheap, good, and quick chinese take out. they have any time specials that are $6 incl. tax - all the regular dishes are on this special menu. their lunch specials are the same price and include choice of soup or soda.

noodles!
the BEST curry noodle soup you will find in the city, even better than any Indian places I go to. The soups are all great, though, and you can't beat their prices.
