You get what you pay for...

This is Brooklyn and the food can vary if you don't like it don't eat there. Most of the places in Park Slope are hit or miss depending on who is cooking. This place is more reliable than Daisy's down on 9th St. If you want better eateries go back to the city, oh wait you can't because you can't afford it. This place delivered my food fast, hot and for a DINER it was decent. If you want better DINER food go to 17th St and eat at Lindo's.

    it was a joke!

The review from "Prescott" was clearly a joke. Come on, people.

    Pretentious

This place is great. The food is pretty good for the price and the people that work there are a cool family, very friendly and very much a part of Park Slope. Delivery is so-so, but you can't go wrong with this diner for a quick bite.

Great food, great price, great service!

My main concern is about the person that said he bought the brownstone home. You represent a very small percentage or park slope at the moment who want to "pay a lot for my food and get a lot for what I've spent." Guess what? With a place like Park Slope you are going to get a lot for what you spent, but you aren't going to spend a lot. Furthermore, this place has really great service and is a lot of fun to go to to watch everybody work.

Nice Place for a simple meal

Hopefully the previous reviewer will leave Park Slope before this place does.

    Thankfully a dying breed

Ever since buying my brownstone here a year ago and becoming a resident of Park Slope, I've been put off by the type of greasy spoon this place represents. Thankfully, month by month, these types of places are being pushed out to make way for more refined establishments more suitable for the next gen of Park Slope: educated, affluent and discerning. No thanks, I don't need burned toast, mushy bread, manufactured pasta in red sauce and other tired dishes just because the're cheap. I want to pay a lot for my food and get a lot for what I've spent. When my broker said "Park Slope is the next Chelsea," and I said "but what about the Park Slope Restaurant?", she waved her and dismissively and said "the days of that place and the cheesy dollar stores that go along with it are numbered." I hope so. I'm growing impatient.

    Nice Little Secret

This place has been here for years and the true residents of the area know it well. Good omlets, good lunch and the dinner specials are good. Don't expect to fins anything fancy or upscale so yuppie scum stay away. This place is small and not trajically hip for that crowd, keep going to Daisys Diner. A true local hangout. Simple good food, fast delivery typical Greek diner stuff.
