really good
i went here looking for good sandwiches, and a cute spot and thats exactly what i got. friendly service, albeit a little slow, from a nice french waitress. they bake their own bread for their sandwiches which is so good. value is perfect. just a great spot.

just what we wanted
A friend and I came here after reading the good reviews and we were pleased because the restaurant was just what we wanted. It had a nice atmosphere; we went for brunch but dinner would probably be just as good. The homemade bread was delicious, as was the rest of our meals. The service was good and everything had a wonderful cozy feel. Very nice, I would definitely return.

Love it.
The food here is delicious and unpretentious. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. You can get something innovative (the quinoa salad for example) or something simple (the omelette) and they're both great. Cozy/comfortable place to sit and good service.

makes me smile
Simple Cafe is truly wonderful. Everytime I leave I have a smile on my face. The food is always delicious and tastes like a home-cooked meal, but dramatically improved. The owners make you feel like you're home, and actually care to talk to you (when they're not too busy, of course). Simple is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood and I hope it stays for many years to come : )

it's grrrreat
really awesome little spot that serves great open faced sandwiches on baguette. the croque madame during a lazy sunday brunch with orange juice and coffee is one of my favorite things.

Cool spot to hang
love going there!!! Brought my girlfriend for a nice dinner and she cant wait to go back. The owners are great and so easy to talk to. Check it out! Very cozy atmosphere.

yum
this place is delicious. it's has the feeling of a family operation. it's not at all pretentious (the way places sure can be in w'burg) and they serve up very quality product. i highly recommend it for any meal. their eggs florentine are amazing.
