I eat here EVERY friday

Food, etc. IN the restaurant is great. Delivery sucks. I had hoped it was an isolated event. Delivery took over an hour and was cold three times (we are literally 1 block away). I didn't dare send it back. I called the restaurant to ask why and the guy hung up on me. I won't recommend or go to the restaurant again. If you offer delivery, the food, service, everything should be the same as in the restaurant.

Toms has the best breakfast food ever. Period.

It's just the best diner experience ever. I've only had breakfast there but who can resist four kinds of butter with those amazing waffles, pancakes and French toast? The line is crazy sometimes but they give you free coffee, juice, tea, toast, fries you name it. Great friendly staff. Never ever had a bad or so so experience here. You definitely won't regret it. Maybe one day I'll sceifice a breakfast option and venture out into the lunch menu lol.

Granted I've only eaten breakfast there it's just the best breakfast I've ever had. French toast and pancakes come with 4 kinds of butter. Cinnamon, strawberry, lemon and regular. Now don't be put off by the line outside. They serve you free coffee, cinnamon butter toast aaand fruit while you wait. Amazing place and the service is impeccable. The decor is actually authentic, definitely old school. I don't think much of it has changed since it opened in 1936. Check it out if your in the area.

This was by far the best diner ever. I was in Brooklyn last summer and my roommate suggested this place after a late night. We all looked like hell, but upon arriving there was no judgment. Everyone at Tom's were inviting and warm. While you're waiting the waiters bring out rounds of free coffee, orange slices, and cookies. The sausage and the crab cakes are to die for :) Only bit of advice, bring cash! No cards accepted. I'm going back this summer and Tom's will be my first stop!

Get the always on special huevos rancheros.
