He grew up eating beef from all around the city, and as soon as he was old enough he started working in the local restaurants making and serving Italian Beef. Now almost 40 years later, after working for some of the best places in Chicago and Las Vegas, Mike moved to Matthews with his wife and brought Gourmet Cooking and the Chicago Italian Beef to a little hole in the wall in Downtown Matthews.
