Lito's Empanadas

In 2007, Carlos and his wife Eve began making empanadas at home and sharing them with friends and family. After receiving rave reviews, Carlos decided to take the leap of faith and open a business selling empanadas. Carlos and Eve found a small storefront on Clark Street in Lincoln Park and signed the lease. Litos Empanadas opened for business in December 2007. Litos Empanadas menu consists of ten varieties of empanadas, ranging from the more typical beef, chicken, and spinach and cheese, to more original tastes such as vegetarian, BBQ chicken and chocolate banana. The empanadas are made daily, guaranteeing freshness.
