YUBA is founded by veteran chef Jack Wei, a former grill and sushi chef at Masa & BarMasa who fell in love with yuba (tofu skin) because of its healthy qualities and its delightful flavors. .YUBA celebrates this delicious and versatile Japanese food ingredient by crafting delicate original creations, chef recommended must-try dishes are" Uni (Sea Urchin) with yuba"; hearty portions of Uni and yuba essence served with shiso leaves and cucumber in tosazu sauce, "Grilled yuba with sweet miso sauce"; handcrafted yuba grilled to perfection and touched with miso sauce, and the house made "Miso yuba soup"; rich miso broth served with yuba and bamboo mushroom. In addition, special yuba dishes such as "Stew beef spare ribs with yuba", "Yuba yamaimo" and "Yuba donburi" are offered seasonally. YUBA's' goal is to provide a memorable dining experience and Chef Jack Wei makes it his mission to ensure it to every guest, in his words.
