Ordered delivery. 20 minutes later got a call saying I'm outside of range (in Greenpoint) and it is a $5 charge (on $20 pie) would I accept. Said no, got attitude. Not going to try again.

We have searched the world over for excellent pizza in the NYC area. This was some of the best we have tried, specifically the Funghi Misti (mushrooms & truffle oil) and we added prosciutto. We don't live anywhere nearby, but this place is worth a sojourn. And we ate like pigs for $20/person with tip. You can't beat that.

I just tried this place after living in the hood for 1.5 yrs and I feel like I've wasted my time here. This place is seriously legit. The ingredients are so perfect, plentiful and fresh. The crust is AMAZING. It's thin and crispy yet fluffy around the edges. I don't know why everyone's beefin about the service. Granted, I ordered delivery, but I had a pleasant experience. I ordered at 9pm on Friday night - arguably a pizza joint's busiest time - and the guy on the phone was a doll and the pie came in 20 minutes. Oh yeah, I also live 12 blocks from Fornino, so that post about them having an 8 block radius is just plain wrong. In sum, this place is awesome. I'm going eat there again tonight - no joke. When I die I want to be cremated and sprinkled over a vongole clam pie.

Have eaten here a bunch of times. Pizza is the best Ive ever had. Now saying that here are the things that needs improvement. Service is fair and the waitresses seem lost. The host is snobbish and why offer delivery if its only 1 block. Depending on who answers the phone sometimes they the deliver and sometimes they don't . If they had a more consistent delivery I would order from them AT LEAST once a week.

I was visiting from NC in Manhattan and was totally disappointed in the pizza. We made a day trip to Brooklyn and walked into Forino. That's when I saw the wood-fired pizza oven. There were two men speaking Italian. We asked for outdoor seating and on the patio low-and-behold ... an atrium for the herbs they had grown on site. We had a shmorgishborg of pizzas that night. My favorite was the proscuito and arugala. Ok..I can't spell, but I never forgot this place. Menupages.com is helped me to reconnect to the pizza place that I never forgot. I LOVE this place, mainly because their spinach pizza (spinach, ricotta, pine nuts, truffle oil) is the best thing ever. Any time I go or order in with friends, I make sure that we get it. Other pizzas are good, but this is my favorite.

its bad enough the pizza all sucks in wburg, but this is the only decent place and they dont delivery until 5pm. thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard.
