Worst food ever
Man, I cant believe the reviews for this place. I came here for lunch and the meal that was served was the single most disgusting piece of food I've put in my mouth. It was basically some vegetables that the chef poured a can of tomato over. The make you think that they give a 50% discount for lunch, but you have to buy rice separately.

Good indian food, 50% off at lunch
Went here with a few friends for lunch (50% off!). waiter was really nice; didn't rush us at all. great food; i didn't order rice with my meal so he gave me a larger portion of my dish. highly recommend, will return

Pretty Good
I took my sons hoping it would be as good as others had claimed. The food was good, not too spicy just right though portions were not that large. Nan was expensive and the Combination platter should be avoided: too small for the price....Service was great! We got the 50% off even on Saturday which made it worthwhile. I would go back to get the NYU discount at dinner but would never pay full price. I have eaten at better Indian places for less although in the city one would expect to find it a bit pricier

Best Baluchi's in the City!
This Baluchi's location is amazing. The food is delicious, the value is great (they have 50% in-house for lunch), and the people who work there are friendly. Highly recommend it.

Awesome
Baluchis is a great Indian restaurant. I have had their signature Chicken Tikka Masala in tomato & cream sauce, it was just wonderful. The sauce was delicious and perfectly balanced, the chicken was extremely tender and had infused the sauce well. Kashmiri Pulao (saffron rice with fruits) was one of the tastiest rice dishes I have ever had (including Paella in Barcelona and Risotto in Rome). I also liked their Raita (water-thinned yogurt side dish with herbs) very much. I think the prices are well-set, they are certainly in tune with the portion size and ingredient quality. The atmosphere is rather authentic and interesting in that sense. The servers were friendly in general and particularly helpful with my questions. I can't wait to go back!

Consistently good food!
Baluchi's 50% off deal at lunch is great (and they also have a good dinner special if you're associated with NYU). I've ordered most dishes off the menu and they have all been great, though the entrees (especially their signature tikka masala, and saag dishes) definitely outshine the appetizers. The service is friendly and very helpful.
