    Have Patience

Food and drinks are worth it. Best value for a night out in most of the neighborhood. Good meat and potatoes. I think they make a nice effort to make you happy and service you with a decent meal.

    Food Good, Service Bad

Agree with last reviewer, my husband and I live in the area and have been coming to Finnegan's for years b/c reliable, good bar food. The wait staff is just downright rude. On a recent evening with many empty tables of four, let us stand and wait twenty minutes for a table of two to open up - only to be forgotten about. When we went to walk out waitress - commented annoyingly well just sit anywhere. We haven't been back since. Too bad, really like their martinis and burgers.

    OMG, What Happened!

My husband and I have been going to the Wake for over 23 years, and lately the waiting staff has been so terrible as far as service and lip towards the customer. Forget about them appreciating loyalty by the customer. One complaint about the way the food is cooked and you are blacklisted. We always have ordered the most expensive item on the menu as well as the higher priced cocktails. They are quick to turn their back on you if you have one complaint. In their eyes the customer is wrong but the restaurant is always right. You can take your business elsewhere is their motto. We have had it with the horrendous attitudes of the staff here, and in this falling economy have decided to eat elsewhere.

    Awesome Food!

We went with friends and my boyfriend had the Beefeater Steak while my friend and I had the Steak Au Poive which was simply delicious! The best I ever had and the mashed potatoes were fantastic - really Irish ! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Fantastic service and food was awesome! Will be back there again for sure! By the way, the salad was delicious too! Great portions and great price too for a night out on the town breaking bread with your favorite people. Brunch is delicious there too!

    Excellent

My wife and I ate here after hitting a few pubs around town. She had a open turkey sandwich w/ mash and I had Bangers and mash . Both were excellent, best Bangers I have had in a while, great brown gravy, cold beer. My wife was unhappy with the salad as it consisted only of lettuce, onion and carrots, but the dressing was good Older man I guess may have been the owner did approach us and ask if we enjoyed our food Will be back for more
