    Not as good

Before the fire, the food had a very good taste to it, but now it is quite bland. If you order anything with Broccoli you get so little meat or shrimp. It's as if they actually count out 7 to eight pieces of shrimp per order. For the price they should not be so skimpy on the meat or seafood. Whenever there was a problem in the past, they were sure to correct it, now that is not the case. What happened to the good food and service that they once had?

    Pretty good food, decent prices

I order from this place all the time for years. I live only a block away so delivery usually only takes 15 minutes or so (I have had them come in 5 minutes a few times). Pretty fast. The food is decent, not the best Chinese in NYC but on par with anything else and the prices are reasonable. They also have sushi and Japanese food, but I'd still rather order from a real Japanese restaurant. Still a nice option. I don't know why some people think this place is no good. The food always comes hot, big portions, fast delivery, good prices. I really can't complain.

    Way downhill

Hunan Park used to be my standby takeout place, but the food has become at best, tasteless, and at worst, inedible. My last order included an order of beef broccoli in which the beef was chewey and downright disgusting, and the sauce thick and tasteless. I took a few bites and threw it away. No more. There are far too many other Asian restaurants in the neighborhood now to ever go back.

    Never Again

Ordered a meal for delivery for myself and daughter, food took a long time when we called I received the usual "it's on the way" Finally arrived and our cold sesame noodles were frozen! Obviously we had to do without otherwise the rest of the hot food would be cold by the time they could replace our appetizer. When I called to complain the person answering the phone actually laughed, refused to give me a refund and when I told her I'd never eat there again (I was close to that before this episode) she laughed again and informed me "we don't care, we have plenty of customers". My guess is with the word of mouth, inferior food, plethora of new restaurants... they won't have plenty of customers for long!

    gone downhill, too bad

This used to be such a good place. A specific example of the for-the-worse change: used to have "golden sesame shrimp" high quality delicate sauce. Closest I could find was chili sauce shrimp advertised as "hot". Worse quality shrimp came in a very thick coating of pink sugar syrup. Even the broccoli was worse, totally dry.

    Sushi is good

I will agree with the other posts. This place was fantastic before the fire. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. But it isn't all that bad now either. The sushi is pretty good and you definitely get your moneys worth. The sushi chef is nice and always decorates the plate with some unique designs. As for the chinese food, it isn't as good as it was, but it isn't bad either.

    Was my favorite restaurant...

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I've actually been going here since they opened, seen them go through countless changes, stayed loyal after the fire a few years ago...I have a history with this restaurant. So I'm terribly disappointed and saddened that they have made some major changes to this establishment in the past few months, including a change in management as well as in the kitchen. They've raised the prices, the food is flavorless/tasteless they're clearly cheapening their ingredients and it's becoming of similar quality to take-out places where food is half the price, and the staff has issues (I went the day after my wallet had been stolen and all I had was a credit card they tried to refuse my purchase, citing a minimum requirement for credit cards, which is illegal, even after I explained that my wallet had been stolen).
